I love robotaxis and the idea of it. My biggest fear is or the biggest threat I see is that people start depending on them and will stop owning cars themselves and therefore taking away their freedom. If for example another „pandemic“ hits, they ill just turn off the robotaxis and take the mobility away from the people

Iranians are no mugs they will fight to the end they are a different animal Trumpler doesn’t know what he’s up against. this cease fire has benefited Iran this will last for years not months.Trumpler has put America in a very awkward position to say the least.thank god I don’t live in America.and the uk were wise not to get involved.just to say you have got a power mad loud mouth idiot running your country you probably know that by now.god bless you you will need it.

A totally senseless short. No real new information. One would expect more solid information from the financial times. The superficiality of this short is reason for the journalist involved to lose their jobs and, more specifically, the reason is non respect of the parameter of quality information erogated. Replacing journalists with artificial intelligence seems a good idea.

More people losing their livelihoods - yay! And before you say it, yes, this tech' exists in China, but over there, the state is at least planning for worker displacement, rather than pretending the market will sort it out.

From a purely utilitarian perspective, robotaxis will eventually replace human drivers, but it's a long term play. Currently, these companies are spending between $250K-$400K PER VEHICLE. that's just upfront costs, not including maintenance or fuel costs. At those numbers, you get more ROI from a standard vehicle and a human driver. Step 1: get that cost WAY down. I've watched these vehicles in San Francisco for the last 10 years. They sometimes make silly choices, but I've never seen one make a dangerous choice...literally not once. I believe the statistics will prove that they are (on average) safer than human drivers. Tesla will NEVER catch up, because they tried to do it on the cheap (no radar, and not enough training on the city streets). So Tesla is not going to be competitive in this category.

You are seriously suggesting that replacing the cheapest part of a taxi ride with a billion dollar project is a game changer ? People will either stay with their cars or grab a normal taxi / uber / per journey rentcar (Miles, Bolt)... I don't think it will work in the market.... even the ZOOX arguments of taxis having to return to base to recharge is daft... a taxi stand with a charger is easy to imagine.

News Flash! Denmark is already in the EU. So your logic that Iceland would give it Arctic claims makes no sense seeing as how they already have it via Greenland. Also Iceland doesn't have any claims to the high Arctic, that's Russia, US, Canada, Norway and Denmark (and soon China).

7:57 In that regard, robotaxis have long avoided/been barred from freeways/highways, therefore, Waymo's analysis is based on a biased set of data, primarily towards city/suburban navigation (as it officially started at the backend of 2025). Yet, it is not addressed.

Interesting editorial choice to show a Tesla on screen but not mention they also have a purpose made robotaxi, the cybercab, which has just started mass production. And that they already have driverless, unsupervised robotaxis operating in 3 cities.

A robotaxi in a dictatorship like Trump's will tell the surveillance system where you went, will release what you've discussed whilst travelling, will take you straight to the police if will recognize you as an offender. Welcome to modern communistic slavery.

Opus Dei has nothing in common which is called Christian Faith and Catholic religion. It is a freemasonry within the Holy Church. Christianity is a religion where the Example of Holy Fathers inspire many, and all many kind of charitable legacies. Opus Dei - there is nothing to learn from them, its just a secretive group of greedy freemasons which have no understanding but knowledge how to serve greed. Basically they do the work of Antichrist, and it’s very well known god of all freemasons is Lucifer the fallen angel. God bless you! And stay safe.

lol one is Catholic the other is Christian they are not the same thing , Christian fundamentalism isnt the same thing as a Catholic splitter group that you can literally ask to see who there members are with a request to the Vatican...Dan Brown much??

My heart goes out to those who lost their job with this fantastic company. I so hope all will find new work, assignments or companies soon. Having applied for many roles with META, globally, during the last year, I just hope they can make amends to their recruitment tool. For those who are actively and selectively looking for new work and /or not getting paid for the work they do, deserve to know which organisations would be in the position to commit to them - professionally, ofcourse - and which onese could pay them handsomely 😊

I don't know why people even have kids nowadays they must not love their children in any way at all. Who would have children in the world we're living in today. You got the government spring the skies with toxic chemtrails, you got weather modification underway from the government's. The governments are poisoning the water that use toxic sewer sludge to fertilize the ground where our groceries are grown that they sell in grocery stores. All the cereals are poisoned with Roundup Cinnamon toast crunch contains the ingredient that is found in paint thinner. Baby food has toxic Roundup in it everything is toxic. The government even has a plan called the 2030 agenda or agenda 2030 or they're going to reduce the population by 75% of the world. They are openly showing you that they want us all gone and they don't care about you and they want to poison everybody. And the government is ran by satanic pedophile cannibals. And you got people out here worrying about Sephora giving anti-aging products to kids. This is a great start and I'm so happy to hear that they're finally doing this. But this is just pathetic it's only a scratch on the surface the real problem is that everything they are doing to people and to their kids is affecting our health our children's health and the future. Why would anybody bring kids into this world truly if they love them do they not have brains or critical thinking skills to look around and see that there is absolutely positively no future in this world.

Distain towards those who contribute to the city. 13,000 people will pay a tax they will not even notice. Not even rounding error, thst will improve the lives of the other 8.5 million. I would argue he’s showing distsin, contempt and everything else for all those people. Are they not contributing to the city?

Before commenting, read this: John Frances Griffin: In 2024, Griffin was indicted on three counts of tax evasion, along with wire and mail fraud. Federal prosecutors alleged he used business funds for personal expenses and failed to file tax returns. In early 2024, the government moved to use evidence of a previous guilty plea for tax evasion to prove "willfulness" in this newer case.

Wind energy across Great Britain hit a new record on Wednesday 25 March 2026, producing enough electricity for more than 23 million homes across the country. There are approximately 28.4 to 30.4 million homes in the UK, based on 2023–2025 estimates. Solar and wind also combined to squeeze more expensive gas-fired generation to just 2.3% of the power mix, figures from the National Energy System Operator (Neso) show. At the time of the record, more than half of Britain’s electricity (53.5%) was coming from wind power, a fifth came from solar, 10% from nuclear, 9.6% from trading over interconnectors with other European countries, 2.4% from biomass, 2.3% from gas, 1.5% from other sources and 0.4% from hydro, Neso said. Renewables generated a record 50.8% of the UK's electricity in 2024, marking the first time they have provided over half of the nation's electricity generation. At no point have I said that any country should rely exclusively on wind nor solar nor a combination thereof.
