The value proposition just isn't there, if it's a special occasion then it is. As an elder millennial, I've never seen value in it. I rather be social with my friends by other means.

I don't drink but ill have non alcoholic beer when i go to the pub and even that is £5 a pint and that not subject to the same taxes. Because of that, i rarely go to the pub unless my band has been booked to play there and I'll get free drinks.
